The National Minimum Wage sets minimum hourly rates that employers must pay their workers. It covers almost all workers in the UK and includes three age based rates and an apprentice rate.
The National Minimum Wage traditionally increases on the 1st October, each year. Pay Check's Guide to the National Minimum Wage outlines the current rates and reporting requirements. We will inform you of the new rates each year, however, it is up to you as the Employer to monitor and inform Pay Check of any National Minimum Wage increases required both annually and due to change of circumstance (such as age).
