Our Team

Matthew is the director of Pay Check and Executive Director with the Briley Group. His vision for Pay Check is to deliver significant impact to our clients and staff by transforming the ways we work. Before joining Briley, Matthew was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He served many leading organisations on a range of transformation and strategy engagements, and was involved deeply in Firm recruiting, and supported a number of social enterprises pro bono. Prior to McKinsey, Matthew advised hundreds of clients over more than a decade on energy markets risk throughout Asia and the Middle East. He led KPMG Singapore’s Energy Resources advisory in 2014. He was also a Director with HSBC Bank, ANZ Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank, specialising in energy-related markets product management. Matthew has held a number of senior management roles in BP’s Integrated Supply & Trading business, and worked at Duke Energy in the Australia and Singapore deregulated gas and power markets.

Katie joined Pay Check in 2004 as a Payroll Administrator. Having spent a few years in shared services and in-house payroll, she prefers the challenge of working directly with clients and partners to understand their business and add value to the relationship. From 2013, having worked her way through the management of People, Operations, Client Services and Business Development, Katie has seen every facet of the client cycle, which is evident in her natural communication style. Her resourcefulness, talent for strategy planning, and studying outside of the payroll world has brought her to her current role in leading the development of Pay Check’s partnership services, audience engagement research, and bureau strategy.

Lee joined Pay Check in 2014 as a Senior Payroll Administrator after years of experience across in-house, bureau and shared services payroll environments. His passion for team work and flair for inclusive and fair leadership saw him progress quickly to a Team Leader role before taking the leap into magament and ultimately leading Operations.

Tracy joined Pay Check as the inaugural employee in 1997, having worked her way up from Office Junior to Payroll Manager in the firm of Chartered Accountants where she started her career. There is very little in the client payroll cycle that Tracy has not seen, with her keen eye for detail and years of experience leading her to focus on new client implementation and BACS.
